Kuari Pass Trek

A ridgeline classic with uninterrupted views of Nanda Devi and Dronagiri, through oak and rhododendron forest. Starting from Joshimath, the trail climbs through Tugasi and Khullara meadows before reaching the 3,860m pass, where an unbroken chain of Himalayan giants — Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Hathi Parbat and Nilgiri — fills the horizon. Camps are set in open meadows with wide valley views, and the route is well-graded, making it a favourite first Himalayan trek for beginners with reasonable fitness.

Pangarchulla Peak Trek

A technical summit push above Kuari Pass — snow slopes, a false summit, and a 360° Himalayan panorama. This trek follows the Kuari Pass route before branching off toward the 4,575m summit, where climbers navigate boulder fields and steep snow with fixed ropes on summit day. Expect sub-zero mornings, a genuine sense of exposure near the top, and — on a clear day — sightlines stretching across the Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, and Kamet ranges. Best suited to trekkers with prior high-altitude experience.

Valley of Flowers Trek

UNESCO-listed alpine meadows bursting with over 300 species of wildflowers each monsoon. The trail runs alongside Ghangaria and the Pushpawati river, opening into a glacial valley carpeted with blue poppies, orchids, and marsh marigolds against a backdrop of snow peaks. A rest day is built in for the valley itself, and most groups combine it with a visit to the Sikh shrine of Hemkund Sahib. Gentle gradients and short daily walking distances make this one of the most accessible high-altitude treks in the region — ideal for families and first-timers.

Niti Valley Tour

The last Indian villages before Tibet — high-altitude desert, old trade routes, and total silence. This is more road-and-village tour than technical trek, tracing the old Indo-Tibetan trade route through Bhotiya settlements like Niti, Gamshali and Kaga, framed by stark, treeless mountains and turquoise streams. Expect homestays and interaction with local communities who've farmed and traded here for generations, plus permit formalities since the valley sits close to the border. A quieter, offbeat alternative for travellers who've done the popular treks already.

Tungnath Chandrashila trail view

Tungnath–Chandrashila Trek

The world's highest Shiva temple, followed by a sunrise summit over the entire Garhwal skyline. A short, steep climb from Chopta through rhododendron forest reaches Tungnath temple, and a further push before dawn takes you to the Chandrashila summit for sunrise over Nanda Devi, Kedarnath, Chaukhamba and Trishul. Doable over a weekend, it packs a full Himalayan panorama into just two days — a good option when time is tight.

Hampta Pass crossing trail
Cross-Valley

5 DaysModerate4,270m

Hampta Pass Trek

A dramatic crossover trek — green Kullu meadows on one side, the stark Lahaul desert on the other. Starting near Manali, the trail climbs through pine forest and flower-strewn meadows before crossing the 4,270m pass into an abrupt change of landscape: the arid, brown valleys of Lahaul. Many groups extend the trip with a side visit to the milky-blue Chandratal lake. The sharp contrast between the two sides of the pass, all within a single trek, is what makes this route stand out.

Rudranath temple trail view
Panch Kedar
₹7,999per person
6 DaysDifficult3,600m

Rudranath Trek

One of the five sacred Panch Kedar temples, reached through remote forest with almost no crowds. The trail from Sagar village winds through dense oak and rhododendron forest and open bugyals (alpine meadows) before reaching the remote Rudranath shrine at 3,600m, set among the Nanda Ghunti and Trishul peaks. Unlike the more commercial Kedarnath route, this one sees very few trekkers, making it a good pick for those wanting solitude alongside the pilgrimage element.

Satopanth Lake glacial view
High Altitude
₹5,999per person
8 DaysDifficult4,600m

Satopanth Lake Trek

A sacred glacial lake near Badrinath, framed by Chaukhamba and Neelkanth — for serious trekkers only. The route follows the Alaknanda river past Mana village (the last village before the Tibetan border) and along the Vasudhara falls before a demanding climb to the triangular, glacier-fed Satopanth Lake at 4,600m. Camps are basic and the terrain includes long walking days over moraine and rough trail, so prior trekking experience and solid fitness are expected. The reward is one of the most remote, untouched high-altitude lakes in the Garhwal.
